Type: Fresh water, Shore/Bank
A popular fishing spot in Sunbury, Victoria. Rainbow Trout and Redfin have been known to bite here. The lake is stocked on the school holidays so this is the best time to fish here.
The northern side of the lake seems to have a better success rate. Not too many snags here, just keep away from the areas with lots of trees along the shore.

Suggested Bait
Plenty of luck with spinners. Not so much with 'real' bait (worms, corn etc).
Getting There
Drive down Aldridge Drive, off Riddell Road. Parking in Laureate Close is easy and close to the lake.

Caught Some!
27th April 2013
Solo fishing here some time ago - caught 2 decent sized rainbow trout on 2 different occasions. I used spinners both times.
